National Workers Compensation Summit 2011 event overview
Many thanks to everyone who attended the 2011 National Workers Compensation Summit. The array of topics covered, and the variety of industry's represented ensured a comprehensive conference with lots of networking opportunities, where you were able to design your own program through the number of streams running.
National Workers Compensation Summit 2011 attracted over 100 speakers, delegates and exhibitors combined, as they get involved in discussing the harmonisation of national workers compensation laws across the country, national reform and fraud in claims.
We had the opportunity to interview Paul Bailey, Ambassador for Spinal Chord Injuries Australia, who spoke at the 12th Annual National Workers Compensation Summit 2011. 1 –Can you run me through some of the emotional and financial costs involved with a spinal chord injury? 2 –What's the key to getting back your independence through rehabilitation, health management and community support? 3 -How is the project "Walk On" improving peoples' ability to rehabilitate and get back to work, improving their life as a whole? 4 - Can you explain a bit of the work you're doing for Spinal Chord Injuries Australia? 5- You presented at the Worker's Comp 2011 event.
