SWA finalists announced
Safe Work Australia (SWA) has announced the finalists in the 6th Annual Safe Work Australia Awards.
The 38 Safe Work Australia Awards finalists are state, territory, Seacare, or Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Commission OHS award winners.
The finalists will compete for top honours in the categories of Best Workplace Health and Safety Management System, Best Solution to an Identified Workplace Health and Safety Issue, Best Workplace Health and Safety Practice/s in a Small Business, and Best Individual Contribution to Workplace Health and Safety.
"Each year, the impressive list of finalists illustrates to me that the commitment to workplace safety is getting stronger and stronger," said SWA Chair Tom Phillips AM.
Each finalist's award submission will be considered by an independent judging panel.
The winners will be announced on World Day for Health and Safety at Work on April 28.
