WorkCover WA releases new annual statistical report

The Workers’ Compensation in Western Australia Annual Statistical Report 2006/07 to 2009/10 details claim activity and key trends within the WA workers’ compensation scheme at three key levels: · scheme overview · claimant characteristics · injury/disease attributes.

WorkCover WA has also recently released the Long Duration Claims in the WA workers compensation scheme: 2004/05 – 2009/10 report.

The report provides an analysis of long duration claims (defined as workers’ compensation claims which involve an injured worker having 60 or more days/shifts off work) and is also available on our website.
